The following points should be considered when selecting flame retardants:



1. The decomposition temperature of the flame retardant must match the decomposition temperature of the flame retardant.

2. Flame retardants must be able to withstand the processing and forming temperature of the flame retardant materials.

3. Different flame-retardant substrates need to use appropriate flame retardants.

4. Flame retardants which have obvious influence on the properties of flame-retarded substrates (such as physical and mechanical properties, electrical properties) are not suitable for use.
